Nightwing is seeking an experienced and certified professional Technical Operator Instructor to provide a safe, conducive, and collaborative learning environment. The job location will be in Sterling, Virginia area, with frequent CONUS travel. The ideal candidate is a subject matter expert with proven experience teaching adult learns in an applications-oriented and hands-on environment. The tech operator Instructor will support a teaching environment to demonstrate in-depth understanding of, and the ability to effectually teach radio frequency theory to an audience of varying educational backgrounds. The individual will demonstrate ability to use and teach the use of monitoring GPS/satellite tag data, analyzing movement patterns, and reporting on specific locations. This position key concepts training other personnel on proper operation of Radio Frequency system is a key responsibility of the engineer because it helps to ensure that the systems continue functioning correctly. The training can involve both explaining the technical aspects of the system and providing practical instruction. The Technical Ops Instructor responsibilities will include and but are not limited to: Deliver high-quality, engaging, and applications-oriented training to varying educational background audiences Developing program planning and execution phases of an operation Adapt instructional methods and training aids to suit the audience and learning environment Provide valuable feedback for curriculum updates and adhere to procedural guidelines for program delivery Maintain a high level of experience in the field of technical and operational Organize and maintain safety standards to make sure that the systems meet the requirements. The program and team members are expected to develop and improve their skill set and knowledge and support in improving and maturing the program. Along with increased responsibilities, team members will have opportunities for growth and other challenges if desired. Duties: This role performs the following core functions: Overseeing a specific course, including developing curriculum, training other instructors, assessing student progress, and ensuring the requirements of subject matter is met Support the planning of the training sessions and improving the skills of those who will instruct in training, fostering a positive learning environment Emphasize achieving a high level of skill and knowledge in a subject and enabling the individual to teach it to others. Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph updated within the last five years
  • Over 10 years’ experience working with the customer in a classified environment
  • Managing equipment, data security, physical security, educator certified skills, and supporting technical operations
  • Experience technical Ops Instructor
  • experience in Training of Trainers (ToT)
  • Ability to work well within a small team
  • Understanding different programming languages and knowing how to use simulation software
  • Technical knowledge to use and develop the software programs while understanding how they work to improve their effectiveness
  • Adaptability to adjust quickly and effectively if the situation changes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and written communications skills
  • Willingness to travel in different locations to support the training facility requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Over 3 years’ experience with the customer certified programs
  • Advance Degree in Engineering or Education or equivalent
  • Knowledge in Radio Frequency
  • Ability to support outside of the WMA area to various customers training sites.
  • Ability to support CONUS Travel
