Nemean Solutions, headquartered in Sierra Vista, AZ, is a certified SBA 8(a) Native Hawaiian Organization (NHO) and veteran-operated company providing advanced Military Intelligence, Enterprise and Cloud IT services, Cybersecurity, Special Operations Forces (SOF) Exercise and Training, and niche Program Support and Professional Services to Federal and State Agencies supporting the US Government Defense, Intelligence and Aerospace sectors. This position is being posted for a potential government contract opportunity. The Technical Instructor IV/Consultant Medical - Subject Matter Expert Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) provides doctoral-level nurse anesthesia education and instruction for the U.S. Army Graduate Program in Anesthesia Nursing (USAGPAN) at the U.S. Army Medical Department Center of Excellence (MEDCoE), Department of Graduate Education (DGE). This position plans, develops, refines, and instructs approximately 112 credit hours of doctoral-level nurse anesthesia education, integrating nursing science with biophysical sciences to prepare Army Nurse Corps officers for the highest level of advanced practice in anesthesia. The CRNA Professor delivers comprehensive instruction on fundamental and advanced anesthesia principles, supervises high-fidelity simulation training, serves as a clinical authority in nurse anesthesia, and supports research and capstone projects to advance evidence-based practice.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in CRNA studies or related field.
  • Active NBCRNA certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
  • Active RN/APRN license or eligibility for Texas licensure.
  • Minimum eight (8) years of CRNA clinical experience.
  • Minimum three (3) years of academic teaching, clinical instruction, or CRNA precepting experience.
  • Familiarity with military medical education and operational training contexts supporting USAGPAN’s military-specific curriculum and trauma/austere environment instruction.
  • Demonstrated expertise in anesthesia delivery systems, airway management, and regional anesthesia techniques.
  • Ability to meet all MEDCoE credentialing and installation access requirements.
  • Ability to conduct classroom and simulation-based instruction for extended periods.
  • Ability to operate simulation and anesthesia training equipment.
  • Ability to demonstrate anesthesia and airway management procedures.
  • Ability to perform all required instructional and simulation support activities.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) or equivalent investigation.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver graduate-level didactic, laboratory, and simulation instruction in nurse anesthesia education.
  • Support curriculum development and updates in accordance with accreditation standards.
  • Conduct high-fidelity anesthesia simulation and practical training exercises.
  • Develop lesson plans, examinations, instructional materials, and student assessments.
  • Mentor and advise graduate-level students on academic and clinical progression.
  • Support research, capstone projects, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
  • Maintain course records and provide administrative support as required.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure program success and instructional quality.
