About The Position

The Technical Inspector will support the various projects located in New Orleans, LA. This position is focused primarily on Technical Inspection.

This position requires US Citizenship due to the sensitivity of customer related information.
This position requires a security clearance or the ability to obtain a security clearance.
Must have a bachelor's degree.
Must have 3+ years of recent and related work experience.
In lieu of degree: Candidates with 7+ years of recent and related experience will be considered.
Inspection experience with methods such as scale/micrometer and torque tools.
Experience with SAP/VECAMS.
Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and TEAMS.

Able to follow company programs, processes, procedures, practices, requirements, goals, and objectives.
Must be organized with good time management skills and must be able to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
Regular attendance in accordance with an established work schedule is critical.

Technical bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

Implement predetermined methods, operations, setups, and prescribed specifications to visually inspect in-process and completed products such as electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies or mechanical units, subassemblies, structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds.
Use various measuring devices.
Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
Work from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists.
May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
