About The Position

As a Software Engineer VI at Indeed, you will operate as a Technical Fellow for the Interop space — the platform connecting Indeed to external ATS/HRIS partners (Big-4 and long-tail ATSs, agencies, and B2B integration surfaces). You'll own architectural direction across Interop's integration domains, partner closely with senior engineers, Product leads, and executive stakeholders to set technical strategy, and ensure our B2B integrations scale reliably as partner and volume growth accelerate. In this role, you'll work across Interop's integration systems, building deep domain knowledge of partner integration patterns and helping the org manage architectural change through clear design documentation and shared standards. You'll also serve as a technical resource for our Solutions Engineering team on complex partner integration issues, and provide cultural and technical leadership across a team of 40-50+ engineers. Success in this role is demonstrated by improved integration reliability and architectural simplicity, stronger Big-4/partner parity outcomes, sustained technical clarity across the Interop organization, and by leveraging our technology and strategy as a business unlock to drive growth and partner adoption.
