TE Battery Chemistry Modeling
About The Position
Contribute to a team highly engaged in all aspects of battery materials research from material synthesis, characterization, fabrication of coin and pouch cells, and testing for electrochemical performance. A Technical Expert in Battery Chemistry Modeling is needed to lead the team’s effort on fundamental battery material modeling using atomic and molecular modeling, quantum mechanics, thermodynamics, and other chemical and physical models to predict viable material compositions, chemical mechanisms, material densities, ion diffusion rates, and other battery material properties.

- Expertise in other chemical and physical models for battery materials
Responsibilities
- Lead the team's effort on fundamental battery material modeling using atomic and molecular modeling, quantum mechanics, thermodynamics, and other chemical and physical models.
- Predict viable material compositions, chemical mechanisms, material densities, ion diffusion rates, and other battery material properties.
- Contribute to material synthesis, characterization, fabrication of coin and pouch cells, and testing for electrochemical performance.
