This Role Is Ideal For Engineering leaders and technical experts with deep experience in vehicle calibration, ADAS manufacturing systems, alignment technologies, or end-of-line validation who want to shape enterprise standards, influence future vehicle launches, and drive global manufacturing innovation. WHY Ensure GM's global manufacturing operations are equipped to build, calibrate, and validate increasingly complex vehicles by developing industry-leading end-of-line systems, manufacturing standards, and automation strategies. This role helps improve Electrical First Time Quality (EFTQ), reduce warranty exposure, enhance production efficiency, and ensure every vehicle meets quality expectations before reaching the customer. WHAT As the End-of-Line Systems Technical Expert, you will serve as the global subject matter expert for manufacturing systems supporting vehicle alignment, headlamp aim, active safety calibration, and autonomous vehicle calibration. You will define technical standards, shape future manufacturing strategies, influence vehicle and equipment design decisions, and provide expert guidance to global plants and engineering teams. HOW Partner with manufacturing, product engineering, program teams, suppliers, and plant operations to develop standardized end-of-line systems that are scalable, automation-ready, and globally deployable. Drive innovation, solve complex technical problems, and establish future-ready manufacturing solutions that support emerging vehicle technologies and evolving customer expectations.
