About The Position

AI Healthcare Company is a seed-stage, mission-driven B2B2C company revolutionizing how self-insured employers connect their plan members to advanced primary care. With a national network of high-performing providers and a turnkey platform for value-based contracting, AI Healthcare Company enables employers to reduce healthcare costs by up to 15% while improving outcomes for high-risk members. As the first traditional full-stack engineering hire, the Head of Engineering will own the technical vision and execution for the company’s core product: a member-facing web application that intelligently recommends the best-fit primary care groups for individuals across geographies. This leader will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for building scalable systems to power AI Healthcare Company's value-based care marketplace. You’ll oversee the development of claims and member data pipelines, lead design and architecture reviews, and build tools that track outcomes and report on contracting performance to employers and partners. With a strong foundation of customers and a recently extended runway, this role offers the rare opportunity to shape engineering from the ground up, influence company-wide strategy, and grow the technical team at a pivotal moment.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in full-stack engineering
• Well-versed in modern technologies and tooling
• Experience building web-based, multi-tenant, data-driven applications
• Experience working at a startup, preferably at early stage
• Has leadership experience as a lead engineer or senior engineer
• Able to work across whole full stack and has built 0-1 on both frontend and backend
• Extensive experience on both sides of the stack - able to act as full-stack engineer
• Computer Science bachelor's degree
