About The Position

Fleetway’s Technical Publications team is leading the development of cutting-edge documentation for the next generation of Royal Canadian Navy ships. We offer a modern, collaborative environment that leverages advanced technology to produce high-quality technical publications. Reporting to the Supervisor, Technical Editing, Technical Editor supports the development of accurate, specification‑compliant technical publications across multiple projects within Fleetway’s Technical Publications department. Working closely with experienced editors, this role focuses on collaboration, attention to detail, and continuous skill development. Editors receive structured training from senior team members to build familiarity with specifications, procedures, and best practices. While initial tasks follow standardized instructions, responsibilities expand over time as skills increase and confidence grows. This role is well‑suited to someone who is organized, curious, and eager to learn in a supportive team environment that values quality and shared success. Responsibilities

  • Support the development of accurate, specification‑compliant technical publications across multiple projects within Fleetway’s Technical Publications department.
  • Work closely with experienced editors, focusing on collaboration, attention to detail, and continuous skill development.
  • Follow standardized instructions for initial tasks, with responsibilities expanding over time as skills increase and confidence grows.
