About The Position
Analyze and evaluate products through technical editorial support and ensure administrative and production on requirements associated with military capabilities, capacity, readiness, military policy, strategy and doctrine and their operating environments are met. Read and evaluate intelligence products and ensure defense tradecraft standards are met. Look for inconsistencies of thought, development, or organization. Confer with authors to recommend treatment of material. Perform reorganization, cut, or rewrite, as necessary, and edit copy.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with written document production or editing
- 3+ years of experience with intelligence production
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, Area Studies, or Communications
Nice To Haves
- Experience with defense tradecraft standards
- Knowledge of military affairs, national security doctrines, or military capabilities
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
