About The Position

The Technical Editor (All-Source Analyst) role requires the production of all-source analysis using intelligence tools and data sources to solve complex problems. The position involves writing comprehensive intelligence assessments, information papers, and presentations, and conveying technical threats. Excellent verbal, writing, and briefing skills are essential for communicating both technical and operational information to diverse audiences. The role demands the ability to work independently with minimal guidance to develop and maintain analytical production. A deep understanding of ICDs 203 and 206 is required.

Requirements

  • Current Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Excellent verbal, writing, and briefing skills with the ability to communicate both technical and operational information to wide-ranging audiences.
  • Ability to work independently with little to no guidance and/or direction to develop and maintain overall analytical production.
  • In depth knowledge of ICD's 203 and 206.

Nice To Haves

  • DIA experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Produce all-source analysis with intelligence tools/data sources that solve complex problems.
  • Write comprehensive intelligence assessments, information papers, presentations and convey technical threats.
  • Develop briefings and analytic products to define threat environments.
  • Produce assessments on complex and technically advanced data sets.
  • Advise, assist, and support in the research and production of all-source analysis on foreign intelligence services intent and capability to exploit, sabotage, subvert, or otherwise disrupt the supply chains for both COTS.
  • Provide input in and response to critical requests for information, finished intelligence production.
  • Evaluate threats, operational effectiveness, suitability, and survivability of identified systems.
  • Coordinate with intelligence, acquisition and industry communities.
  • Reviews intelligence products for proper grammar, punctuation, and syntax, as well as for logic, clarity, and consistency.
  • Ensures that style and format conform to agency publication standards and that language presentation is consistent with prescribed style guides and specialized vocabulary of subject matter fields.
  • Amends draft tables, tone boxes, and graphics to ensure the content supports and is consistent with the accompanying text.
  • Ensures proper classification markings in accordance with IC guidance.
  • Works with authors to revise products for narrative organization, and negotiates further revisions as needed.
