About The Position

Technical Editor, Mid The Opportunity : With all the information available today, it takes a skilled intelligence professional to know how to support their client in a dynamic environment. With the critical decisions made in our government every day, we need an intel professional like you to do just that. As a Technical Editor, you use your spe cia lized experience and your attention to detail to review professional documents and intelligence products to give your client the actionable intelligence and context they need. If you have strong technical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support our war fighters and inform our nation's leaders. As a technical editor on our team, you’ll help your client by reviewing intelligence products for proper grammar, punctuation, and syntax, as well as for logic, clarity, and consistency. You will ensure that style and format conform to agency publication standards and that language presentation is consistent with prescribed style guides and spe cia lized vocabulary of subject matter fields. You will amend draft tables, tone boxes, and graphics to ensure the content supports and is consistent with the accompanying text. You will ensure proper classification markings in accordance with IC guidance and work with authors to revise products for narrative organization, and negotiates further revisions as needed. Join us. Requirements

  • Knowledge of the DIA Style Manual for Intelligence Production
  • Knowledge of DNI or DIA sourcing requirements and Security Markings
  • Ability to develop high-quality deliverables tailored to senior policy makers or defense stakeholders, including complex written products and briefings
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience as a technical editor in the IC, or 7+ years of experience as a technical editor in the IC in lieu of a degree

  • Experience editing DIA products
  • Experience editing technical cyber related materials

Responsibilities
