The Technical Director is responsible for the execution of all technical aspects of performances, events, and rentals within the Jewish Community Center's theater and event spaces. This includes advanced expertise in sound, lighting, and video projection. This position handles all A/V for performing arts programming, community events, educational programs, donor events, meetings, concerts, special events, educational programs, and summer drama camp, and external rentals while ensuring a safe, professional, and welcoming environment that reflects the mission and values of the JCC. The Technical Director serves as the primary in-house technician and is the liaison between artists, renters, staff, vendors, and contracted technical personnel. The ideal candidate combines strong technical theater expertise with exceptional organizational skills, collaborative leadership, and a commitment to community engagement.
