About The Position

Entech Network Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a confidential client seeking a hands-on technical leader for custom scenic builds, exhibits, displays, and branded environments. This person will lead the team that turns creative concepts into practical construction plans. You will help determine how each element should be built, ensure production teams receive clear drawings and machine files, and guide projects through technical challenges.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience designing and detailing custom fabricated environments.
• Experience leading technical designers or fabrication teams.
• Background in scenic fabrication, exhibits, experiential production, branded environments, or closely related custom fabrication.
• Strong understanding of shop drawings, materials, assembly methods, and digital fabrication workflows.
• Proficiency with relevant software such as AutoCAD, Vectorworks, Rhino, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, SketchUp, or Inventor.
• Ability to explain your personal contribution to completed projects, including technical decisions, production challenges, and delivery timelines.
• Availability to work onsite in Fort Lauderdale.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design staff and coordinate with creative, fabrication, and project teams.
• Translate concepts into shop drawings, material specifications, assembly instructions, and installation details.
• Determine appropriate materials, construction methods, and fabrication approaches.
• Oversee accurate production files for CNC and other digital fabrication equipment.
• Evaluate labor, materials, equipment, and outside services to support estimating and pricing.
• Review technical packages for completeness, accuracy, and buildability.
• Resolve design and fabrication issues while managing multiple projects with firm deadlines.
• Improve drawing standards and communication between design, production, and installation teams.
