Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Director, ISRM Data Engineering, Analytics & AI to join our Information Security & Risk Management organization. The preferred locations is Raritan, New Jersey. Position Summary The Director, ISRM Data Engineering, Analytics & AI will set the strategy and lead delivery of enterprise cybersecurity data capabilities that make J&J’s security data trusted, accessible, actionable, and scalable. This leader will bring together cybersecurity, data engineering, analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence to improve transparency across assets, vulnerabilities, system events, operational technology environments, cloud services, identities, and other critical risk domains. We are looking for a collaborative technical leader, product-minded strategist, and trusted partner who can translate complex cybersecurity needs into data products, insights, and outcomes. The Director will advance the ISRM DataHub ecosystem, strengthen data quality and governance, enable AI/ML and agentic AI use cases, and deliver measurable value through stronger decision-making, automation, and cyber risk reduction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field is required; an advanced degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability across data engineering, analytics, technology delivery, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, or enterprise IT, including experience leading complex multi-functional initiatives.
  • Experience designing and operating large-scale cloud-based data platforms, pipelines, advanced data architectures, data models, analytics products, and visualization solutions in cloud or hybrid environments.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity domains such as asset management, vulnerability management, security operations, identity, cloud security, OT security, incident response, risk management, and compliance.
  • Hands-on knowledge of modern technologies such as Python, SQL, Spark, cloud data services, APIs, data catalogs, visualization tools, automation frameworks, and DevOps/DataOps practices.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business and cybersecurity needs into clear roadmaps, technical solutions, measurable outcomes, and stakeholder-ready insights.
  • Strong leadership, communication, influence, and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage senior leaders and technical teams across a global environment.
  • Experience leading or mentoring technical teams and strengthening engineering excellence, delivery rigor, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence without formal authority.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in regulated healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, or large global enterprise environments.
  • Experience with AI/ML, generative AI, agentic AI, model governance, or AI-enabled cybersecurity capabilities.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity data sources, SIEM platforms, security telemetry, CMDB, OT/IoT data, NetFlow, vulnerability data, identity data, and asset discovery tools.
  • Experience with product management, CI/CD, DevOps, DataOps, agile delivery, portfolio management, or value realization.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS; relevant technical certifications are preferred.
  • Professional certifications in cybersecurity, data engineering, cloud, analytics, AI, or product management are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the strategy and roadmap for ISRM data engineering, analytics, visualization, and AI capabilities in alignment with J&J’s Cyber Trust Strategy and ISRM priorities.
  • Lead the design and modernization of scalable cybersecurity data platforms, pipelines, models, services, and reusable data products across structured and unstructured security data sources.
  • Improve asset intelligence, vulnerability analytics, OT analytics, CMDB reconciliation, network telemetry and application dependency insights, security reporting, and cyber accountability capabilities.
  • Increase adoption of the ISRM DataHub and related analytics services by improving usability, reliability, data quality, cataloging, search, self-service enablement, and customer engagement.
  • Partner across cyber operations, architecture, product, engineering, risk, compliance, and business teams to turn complex security questions into trusted data products and actionable insights.
  • Identify, prioritize, and deliver AI/ML and agentic AI use cases that improve cybersecurity effectiveness, operational efficiency, automation, decision support, and risk reduction.
  • Establish and mature DataOps, DevOps, CI/CD, observability, documentation, governance, and controls needed to operate enterprise-grade cybersecurity data capabilities.
  • Lead complex, multi-functional initiatives from concept through delivery, including business value development, roadmap planning, partner alignment, execution governance, and value realization.
  • Coach and develop data engineers, analysts, product contributors, and diverse team members to build future-ready skills in cybersecurity, data engineering, analytics, cloud, automation, and AI.
  • Communicate strategy, progress, risks, dependencies, value, and outcomes clearly to senior leaders, business partners, and technical collaborators.
