About The Position

BCI, a leader in the women's fashion industry since 1975, is seeking a Technical Design Assistant. This role requires adapting quickly to a fast-paced work environment and shifting priorities within the design and production teams.

Requirements

Minimum 1+ year experience in fashion design or technical design
Bachelor’s degree in fashion required
Proficiency in Excel
Strong problem-solving and execution skills
Detailed oriented with a keen eye for accuracy
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize and shift focus as needed
Strong follow-through skills, especially following up with multiple teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills - able to write succinct messages and communicate clearly

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in PLM system (Centric)

Responsibilities

Organize and maintain the seasonal sample library
Retrieve and manage previous samples for fitting
Log all incoming and outgoing samples into WIP and fit charts accurately
Communicate daily with overseas factories, production team, and design team regarding any updates for fit and status
Track and maintain an updated record of samples borrowed by other departments
