About the position
The Technical Delivery Manager position at Enveil is an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth, fast-paced tech company. As the Manager of Technical Delivery, you will lead a team of technical professionals responsible for ensuring the best possible experience for customers. Your role will involve leading technical scoping support, career development for team members, shaping product strategy, fostering cross-departmental relationships, managing development efforts, and overseeing the technical interview process. This position requires at least 3 years of experience as a technical manager and 4 years of experience as a solution.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Solutions Architects and Deployment Engineers responsible for all technical aspects of Enveil’s product deliveries, ensuring that our customers have the best possible experience.
- Lead technical scoping support to the Sales Department, ensuring that our sales opportunities are set up for success from the earliest stages.
- Lead career development for your team members through one-on-one coaching, setting development goals, and providing clear, honest performance feedback.
- Help shape Enveil’s product strategy and roadmap by understanding customers’ missions, and representing their interests in our internal development processes.
- Foster cross-departmental relationships with the engineering department, ensuring product development stays aligned with customer needs and facilitating knowledge transfer across teams.
- Manage development efforts to improve Enveil’s internal delivery and deployment tooling.
- Help us continue to grow by managing the technical interview process for Customer Success, ensuring the process is rigorous, fair, and focused.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a technical manager, including technical portfolio management
- 4+ years of experience as a solution architect or deployment engineer
- Ability to lead a team of technical professionals and ensure a positive customer experience
- Strong technical scoping support skills for sales opportunities
- Experience in career development and coaching for team members
- Understanding of customer missions and ability to represent their interests in product strategy and roadmap discussions
- Ability to foster cross-departmental relationships and facilitate knowledge transfer
- Knowledge of development efforts to improve internal delivery and deployment tooling
- Experience in managing the technical interview process for Customer Success
