About The Position

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Technical Data Center Project Manager to oversee the review, coordination, and integration of MEP system designs with overall project plans. This role involves managing project costs, developing schedules, and ensuring timely completion within budget, while ensuring work aligns with approved drawings and specifications. The Project Manager will act as the primary liaison between clients, architects, structural engineers, facilities management, and construction teams to integrate systems. Responsibilities include supervising MEP contractors and subcontractors, monitoring progress, conducting site inspections, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The role also requires preparing construction risk assessments and project status reports, recommending the release of construction funds, adjusting project resource needs and disbursement schedules, and reviewing agreements to ensure timelines are met. The ideal candidate will lead by example, model CBRE RISE values, influence parties to reach agreements, and apply knowledge of their discipline and its integration with others to achieve team objectives.

Requirements

• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Mission critical facilities MEP infrastructure experience necessary
• Data center facilities infrastructure experience strongly desired
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information
• Convey performance expectations and handle obstacles
• Proficiency in Project Management software required
• Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mentality

Nice To Haves

• Licensure as either a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect is desired
• PMP and/or LEED certification are beneficial
• Experience with Google Suite beneficial
• Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between clients, architects, structural engineers, facilities management and construction teams to integrate systems

• Prepare construction risk assessment and project status reports
• Recommend the release of construction funds

• Review agreements, and other submitted documents to ensure timelines are being met
