About The Position

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Meade, MD. The role involves delivering instructor-led and blended network operations training to watch officers and cyber personnel. The position also supports course design, development, and continuous curriculum improvement aligned with mission objectives. Planning and executing training exercises, including MSEL development and scenario synchronization, is a key responsibility. The role requires developing After Action Reports (AARs) and integrating lessons learned into training updates. Analyzing training performance, certification standards, and readiness metrics to improve outcomes is also part of the job. The trainer will maintain training records, databases, and certification tracking systems, utilizing JTIMS and JLLIS to manage training objectives and lessons learned. Coordination of training logistics, schedules, and stakeholder engagement is necessary. Support for IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) documentation and training-related briefings is expected. Collaboration with DISA stakeholders to align training with operational requirements and providing updates and recommendations to leadership on training effectiveness and improvements are also key functions.

Requirements

  • Active Secret security clearance (required).
  • Bachelor’s and 8 years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 6 - 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in network operations management training, cyber operations, or workforce development.
  • Experience delivering training and supporting course development.
  • Experience planning and executing exercises and training events.
  • Strong understanding of network operations management and training frameworks.
  • Experience tracking training metrics and workforce readiness.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with leadership and stakeholders.
  • Active or interim DoD clearance is required, U.S. Citizenship is required.
