3350 Production Control Tech. Coordinator 1st Shift
About The Position
Develops ways to increase productivity, maximize efficiency, and manage human capital and floor space more effectively. Utilizes sound management principles and Lean concepts with the intent of improving process flows, reducing operational expenses, and improving productivity. Analyzes and challenges existing procedures in areas of responsibility throughout the facilities, making recommendations, and working with the operations management teams to integrate solutions. Provides guidance and support to operational management by identifying progress opportunities, supporting the company's themes, and helping to manage the annual business plan. Develops, implements, and improves processes, equipment, and work activities to meet and exceed the company's safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
Requirements
- M.O.S.T. and/or Time Study work measurement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to set and achieve goals with minimum supervision
- Demonstrated solid teamwork, interpersonal and planning skills
- Proficient in MS Office Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Candidate must be a full-time associate with a minimum of 3 months of service
- Associate cannot be in their New Hire Probationary Period.
- Candidate must have received 0 written corrective actions, excluding attendance within the past 12 months.
- Candidate must have a minimum of 3.5 points at the time of this posting and/or cannot reach 1.5 points while in the position.
Nice To Haves
- 4-year degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Project management experience
- AutoCAD and Simulation software a plus
