About The Position

Paperless Parts is the SaaS-based intelligence layer for modern manufacturing, enabling our customers to innovate faster in the physical world. From rockets to medical devices, we power the parts that move the world forward. This position requires activities that are subject to US Export Control Laws and require US Citizenship or Green Card Holder. As a Technical Consultant on our Implementation team, you will serve as the technical builder during customer onboarding, constructing custom pricing and quoting configurations using P3L, our proprietary Python-based language. Reporting to the Manager of Technical Services, you will bridge technical execution and customer consulting by converting complex manufacturing pricing logic into automated software workflows. In this cross-functional role, you will partner closely with Implementation Project Managers and Services Engineers to drive projects to completion on schedule. By spending time on-site at customer facilities, you will gain hands-on insight into manufacturing operations, ensuring every deployment delivers maximum value and long-term platform adoption.

Requirements

Demonstrated proficiency with Python, Excel formulas, SQL, or comparable programming environments.
Proven experience implementing software solutions or configuring technical workflows for external stakeholders.
Demonstrated capability to translate complex business and pricing requirements into structured software configurations.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical customer stakeholders.
Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement and travel up to 25% to customer facilities across the US.
US Citizenship or Green Card Holder.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with job shop operations such as CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, or 3D printing.
Experience in SaaS onboarding or implementation roles, or an academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, or MIS.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain customer pricing models using Paperless Parts’ proprietary Python-based coding language (P3L).
Deploy standard system integrations and engineer custom data mappings to meet specific customer operational requirements.
Collaborate with Implementation Project Managers and Services Engineers to gather requirements, map technical solutions, and hit onboarding milestones.
Conduct customer discovery sessions and document all custom configurations and code to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer.
Visit customer manufacturing facilities to learn shop operations firsthand, build technical relationships, and advise on quoting workflow best practices.
Provide ongoing technical support and optimization for live customer pricing configurations and integrations.
Responsible for adherence to all security and privacy requirements, rules and regulations and implement as required.
