The Technical Consultant is responsible for working with new and existing CPS clients to assess business needs, provide consultative guidance, and deliver effective solutions for file integration requirements. This role focuses on understanding client objectives, translating technical requirements, and ensuring those requirements are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Five to eight years of experience in project management activities
  • Experience designing and implementing file-based integrations (e.g., transaction, payment, reconciliation files) is strongly desired
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both internal and external stakeholders
  • Basic project coordination skills with the ability to manage tasks independently
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
  • Creative thinking and ability to develop practical solutions to complex technical challenges

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of corporate card programs, billing cycles, and reconciliation workflows
  • Exposure to payables/receivables data flows and financial system integrations
  • Experience defining data requirements, mapping formats, and aligning system capabilities to client needs
  • Managing full lifecycle implementations (discovery → build → testing → go-live → enhancements)
  • Knowledge of sending/receiving structured data files and troubleshooting data exchange issues
  • Familiarity with internal platforms (e.g., Access Online, CPMIS, TSYS or similar systems)
