About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill a Technical Consultant – AI Integration & Agent Automation position for our client. This is a remote, 3-month contract role. The consultant will be responsible for building, configuring, and refining AI agents, assistants, and automated workflows using platforms like ICA or WXO. Key duties include developing agents for various use cases, creating and optimizing prompt templates, preparing RAG context packs, configuring connectors, establishing data sourcing processes, performing human-in-the-loop QA, and maintaining agent artifacts. The role also involves supporting API integration, workflow orchestration, observability, performance tuning, and cost optimization.

Requirements

AI agent, assistant, and workflow development using ICA, WXO, watsonx, OpenAI, or similar platforms
RAG, embeddings, semantic search, vector schemas, and managed embedding providers
LLM prompt engineering, few-shot prompting, text cleaning, and guardrails
Data sourcing, ingestion, masking, and transformation
Connector configuration, API integration, workflow automation, and basic scripting
Human-in-the-loop QA, LLMOps, observability, and responsible AI practices
Hands-on experience building and refining AI agents, assistants, RAG solutions, and automated workflows in enterprise environments.
Experience with ICA or similar agent platforms, including prompt tuning, connector configuration, agent actions, and iterative QA.
Experience integrating AI services with enterprise applications using APIs, connectors, and workflow orchestration.
Experience with data preparation, embeddings, semantic search, vector-based knowledge retrieval, and LLM prompt optimization.
Familiarity with watsonx, OpenAI, WXO, managed embedding services, and responsible AI practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Responsibilities

Build, configure, and refine AI agents, assistants, and automated workflows using ICA, WXO, or similar platforms.
Develop agents for use cases such as idea parsing, assumption extraction, partner matching, pilot planning, and analytics summarization.
Create and optimize prompt templates, few-shot examples, guardrails, and RAG workflows.
Prepare RAG context packs and vector schemas using metadata such as topic, source, and timestamp.
Configure connectors and develop basic scripts for agent actions and workflow automation.
Establish processes for data sourcing, ingestion, cleansing, masking, and preparation.
Perform human-in-the-loop QA and tune agents based on pilot feedback.
Maintain agent artifacts, prompt libraries, RAG knowledge slices, QA results, and tuning documentation.
Support API integration, workflow orchestration, observability, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
