We are looking for a midsenior Technical Data Business Analyst with strong SQL and SSIS, expertise to support migration of legacy SSIS ETL pipelines to Azure Data Factory ADF and Databricks The core of this role is to reverse engineer SSIS packages and SQL transformations and produce developerready mapping and functional specification documents so engineering teams can rebuild pipelines accurately in ADF Databricks.
Requirements
- Advanced SQL complex joins CTEs window functions performanceaware logic
- Handson experience analyzing and documenting SSIS packages Derived Column Lookup Conditional Split Merge Join Aggregate Script
- Proven ability to produce mappingspec documents that developers can build from with minimal backandforth
- Strong understanding of ETL concepts incrementalfull loads SCDdeduping data quality rules audit columns error handling
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with ADF pipelines Databricks Delta Lake medallion architecture Unity Catalog
- Experience with Snowflake as a source and on prem connectivity patterns Selfhosted IR
- Insurance domain exposure claims policy billing underwriting reinsurance produceragent data
Responsibilities
- Reverse engineer SSIS controldata flows SQL stored proceduresviews configs and dependencies
- Create sourcetotarget mapping STTM docs with fieldlevel transformation logic and business rules
- Translate existing logic into ADFDatabricks implementation guidance orchestration incremental loads error handling audit patterns
- Document data lineage across Snowflakeon prem staging curated Databricks
- Partner with stakeholders business actuaryclaims ops data engineering to validate business rules and define acceptance criteria
- Define reconciliation checks and test plans to validate parity between SSIS and rebuilt pipeline.
