About The Position

The Global Technology Talent Development team is focused on development and retention of top Technology talent, by provisioning world-class skill development and career enablement programs to foster a strong culture of learning. Tech Talent Development creates, curates, and delivers strategic talent programs for Morgan Stanley Technology. Tech Talent Development Data and Analytics (TTDDA) team manages reporting and analytics on talent programs and provides talent analysis insights to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a relevant field (e.g., data, analytics, computer science, business, or engineering).
  • Experience driving delivery in a matrix organization (planning, dependencies, and stakeholder coordination).
  • Proficiency in business analysis practices (requirements elicitation, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process mapping).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with cross-functional technical and business teams.
  • Ability to document end-to-end business processes, data flows, and key controls with clarity and traceability.
  • Hands-on experience with reporting/analysis tools and data platforms (Excel, Power BI, Snowflake, and SQL/SQL Server).
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail, including comfort validating data and reconciling results.
  • Understanding of data application concepts (ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling fundamentals, and API-based integrations).
  • Ability to work independently on assigned deliverables while providing clear status updates and escalating risks early.

Responsibilities

  • Define and refine the product backlog by translating the product vision and roadmap into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with the Agile squad in planning, refinement, and retrospectives to remove blockers and keep delivery on track.
  • Develop and enhance reporting and analytics solutions using Snowflake and Power BI, including data validation and performance checks.
  • Own end-to-end analysis from problem framing through data exploration, requirements, and delivery support.
  • Identify and communicate delivery risks, dependencies, and timeline impacts, and track actions through resolution.
  • Elicit requirements with the Product Owner and stakeholders, and produce functional/technical specifications for the development team.
  • Document business processes, data flows, and technical designs to support development, testing, and ongoing support.
  • Plan and execute UAT, and perform release validation/business checkouts to confirm readiness for deployment.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to align scope, timelines, and expectations.
