About The Position

Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong Fixed Income and Trade Surveillance experience to support an urgent initiative within the capital markets environment.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience as a Business Analyst within Fixed Income / Capital Markets
• Solid understanding of Fixed Income trading products and trade lifecycle, including bonds, rates, credit, and related instruments
• Experience supporting Trade Surveillance / Market Surveillance platforms, controls, alerts, and monitoring workflows
• Strong technical/data analysis skills, ideally including SQL, data mapping, querying, and large trade datasets
• Experience with BRDs, functional specifications, user stories, process flows, UAT, and defect management
• Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge business, compliance, and technology stakeholders

Nice To Haves

• Capital Markets / Investment Banking experience with a strong combination of Fixed Income domain knowledge, Trade Surveillance expertise, and technical BA skills

Responsibilities

• Gather and translate business and regulatory requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications
• Work closely with Trading, Compliance, Surveillance, Technology, and Data teams
• Analyze trade/order data, surveillance scenarios, alerts, and data flows to identify gaps and support enhancements
