About The Position

We’re hiring a Technical Business Analyst (TBA) to help scale how we deliver and support internal automations and workflow improvements across the business. This role sits between stakeholders and technical delivery—translating business needs into clear requirements and durable documentation—while also supporting day-to-day questions and troubleshooting related to existing solutions. You’ll partner closely with technical resources and stakeholders across functions to clarify intent, document requirements, coordinate validation/testing when needed, and ensure delivered solutions are supportable through strong documentation and knowledge-sharing.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in a Business Analyst / Technical BA / Systems Analyst / Operations Analyst type role (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated ability to gather requirements and create clear documentation that technical teams can execute against
  • Basic SQL proficiency (querying data to validate outcomes, investigate issues, and support decisions)
  • Comfortable working with dev/technical teams and learning technical concepts (data flows, system constraints, integrations)
  • Strong written communication, follow-through, and organizational skills
  • Calm under pressure and detail-oriented
  • High School Diploma Required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Ability to Travel as business needs dictate
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to perform physical activities including standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling during site visits.

Responsibilities

  • Attend stakeholder meetings, ask clarifying questions, and document workflows, goals, constraints, and edge cases
  • Produce clear artifacts such as requirements docs, BRDs, process maps, SOPs, training guides, and troubleshooting documentation
  • Convert ambiguous requests into clear, implementable asks with context and success criteria
  • Maintain and build documentation standards and templates in Confluence
  • Respond to business questions and support requests related to automations and internal tools
  • Determine when requests can be resolved quickly vs. when they require deeper discovery and documentation
  • Translate needs into actionable work items (tasks/bugs/stories) with impact, context, and clear next steps
  • Partner with engineers/automation builders to clarify scope and reduce rework
  • Perform basic functional validation: smoke checks, edge case confirmation, and verification against documented expectations
  • Coordinate with QA and business stakeholders for larger initiatives when formal testing is required
  • Build and maintain a scalable knowledge base in Confluence (how-to guides, decision logs, known issues, release notes)
  • Maintain templates and standards for requirements, intake, and documentation
  • Support lightweight configuration/maintenance of operational tooling and processes as needed (varies by project)
  • Support bug fixes, development, and release as skillset and knowledge grow.
  • Work with stakeholders across functions (Ops, Retail, Fulfillment, Accounting, etc.) as priorities dictate
  • Provide input that influences decisions while being mentored toward increased ownership over time
  • Performs other duties as assigned
