About The Position

Trissential is hiring a Technical Business Analyst to join our client’s team supporting a critical, enterprise‑wide network and telecom device segmentation initiative . This is a hands‑on, execution‑focused role where you’ll work closely with Network, Telecom, MSS, and Security teams to document requirements, validate enforcement, and ensure least‑privilege access models are implemented accurately and sustainably. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst , Systems Analyst, or IT‑focused Business Analyst
  • Experience supporting infrastructure, networking, telecom, or security initiatives
  • Working understanding of core networking concepts such as IP networking, routing, firewalling, and segmentation
  • Strong ability to synthesize complex technical information into clear, structured documentation
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non‑technical teams
  • Highly detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, Communications, Healthcare, or a related field
  • Equivalent professional experience will be considered in place of formal education

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with network segmentation , Zero Trust , or least‑privilege access models
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow CMDB
  • Experience working directly with Network, Telecom, MSS, or Security teams
  • Exposure to enterprise healthcare or large‑scale regulated environments
  • Experience supporting multiple device classes or technology domains

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary analysis and requirements lead for MSS and Telecom device segmentation initiatives
  • Identify and document in‑scope device populations, attributes, ownership, and operational context
  • Analyze and document required communication flows, dependencies, and real-world operational use cases
  • Translate technical discussions into clear segmentation requirements, enforcement criteria, and validation artifacts
  • Support enforcement validation activities, confirming correct segment placement and approved communication paths
  • Maintain traceability between device inventories, segmentation rules, enforcement status, and operational outcomes
  • Use ServiceNow as the system of record for documentation, validation, and tracking
  • Establish and document scope boundaries for device segmentation with clarity and accuracy
  • Apply systems engineering and analytical methodologies throughout the product and project lifecycle
  • Perform root cause analysis and proactively propose solutions
  • Contribute to standardized documentation, procedures, and repeatable onboarding workflows
  • Support change management activities for product implementations that do not require formal implementation teams
