The work helps ensure that construction activities meet Department standards and that records are complete and reliable. As a Technical Assistant, you will perform the following duties: Documentation Review: Check project records and materials reports for accuracy and compliance with Department policies Project Support: Assist in maintaining construction project documentation using ECMS, PPCC, and mobile applications Cost Verification: Review calculations and quantities to confirm that submitted costs and payments are correct Field Inspection: Observe construction activities and traffic control setups to ensure they follow plans and specifications Material Testing: Assist with sampling and reviewing materials and collect required certifications for project use

Requirements

  • Graduation from high school ; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Meet the PA residency requirement.
  • Be able to perform essential job functions.

Nice To Haves

  • Telework part-time, on an ad-hoc basis (requires securely configured high-speed internet and approved location inside Pennsylvania)
  • Option to report to the headquarters office in Bridgeville if unable to telework.
