About The Position

Organizes, plans, coordinates and maintains all Capacity Building Technical Assistance to ensure appropriate information is shared between Cherokee Nation and the Cherokee community-based organizations. Travels (drives) extensively between specified sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from 4-year college or university; or six years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience in Communications, Business, Management, Marketing, Information Systems, Education, or Non-Profit Management.
• Three (3) years of experience in a related field is required.
• Knowledge of Accounting software; Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.
• A valid driver's license is required to travel extensively from one site to another.
• Must have knowledge of and be able to use web-based technology.
• Ability to share information through story telling.
• Must have knowledge of 501c3 nonprofit management or have worked with nonprofit organization.
• Must have knowledge or have worked with small Cherokee communities.
