About The Position

The Technical Assistance Specialist supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s implementation of the Idaho Cognitive Health Workforce Network, funded through Idaho’s Rural Health Transformation Program. The role provides hands-on technical assistance to sub-awardees and implementing partners and serves as their day-to-day contact to help keep work plans, budgets, and timelines aligned with Network goals, grant requirements, and reporting expectations. The Specialist tracks progress against deliverables, identifies risks, connects partners with resources and expertise, and manages post-award processes so workforce activities across rural and frontier Idaho stay on track. Working closely with the Community Health Manager and the Associate Director of Applied Research & Program Evaluation, the Specialist supports a coordinated and well-documented Network of academic, clinical, and community partners. Core focus areas include technical assistance and work-plan alignment; post-award monitoring, deliverable tracking, and compliance support; partner coordination, committee support, and Network communications; and data collection and reporting support. Specific priorities and activities are defined by the Idaho award and may be adjusted in coordination with the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare. This is a grant-funded position. The position is remote and full time at 37.5 hours per week. Occasional travel within Idaho for partner meetings and the annual convening is expected. The stated salary range is $55,000–$70,000.
