About The Position

Leads development and delivery of strategic and operational Technical Assistance services supporting rural healthcare providers. Oversees provider assessments, operational improvement initiatives, sustainability planning, implementation support, workforce stabilization efforts, and provider engagement strategies. Coordinates Technical Assistance specialists and subject matter experts supporting clinical operations, patient workflow optimization, revenue cycle improvement, payer contracting, staffing models, financial sustainability, and operational transformation activities. Supports development and implementation of provider-specific workplans, sustainability plans, and measurable outcome metrics. Up to 25% travel may be required.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in public health, healthcare administration, nursing, business administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of healthcare consulting, operational improvement, rural health support, or technical assistance experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting rural hospitals, FQHCs, tribal health organizations, or safety-net providers.
  • Significant experience with technical assistance methods and adult learning principles.
  • Minimum 3 years experience supporting CMS, HRSA, Medicaid, or federally funded transformation initiatives.
  • Strong expertise in rural health operations, sustainability planning, workforce stabilization, and healthcare performance improvement.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary consulting teams and facilitating provider learning collaboratives.
  • Ability to support statewide provider engagement and implementation activities.
  • Experience serving as client interface for state agencies, Medicaid authorities, or other public-sector health funders.
  • Experience leading a team and providing oversight of performance, quality control, and deliverables.
  • Strong understanding of state health systems, Medicaid programs, rural health environments, or safety-net provider networks.
