Technical Architect – Financial Management Systems (iFAMS / Momentum)
About The Position
Fathom Management, Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Architect to support the Financial Management Business Transformation (FMBT) Program and iFAMS implementation efforts. This role will be responsible for defining, designing, and overseeing the technical architecture supporting data conversion, system integration, and interface development activities across multiple implementation waves. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience architecting Momentum Financials solutions within large-scale federal environments. This individual will serve as the technical authority for interface and conversion architecture, ensuring scalable, reliable, and secure integration between Momentum and external systems while supporting Agile delivery methodologies and modernization initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of Financial Management Systems industry experience.
- Minimum 10 years of Technical Architect experience supporting enterprise applications.
- Minimum 5 years of Technical Architecture experience supporting Momentum Financials implementations.
- Minimum 2 years supporting Agile projects and delivery teams.
- Extensive experience designing enterprise integration and conversion architectures.
- Expertise with: Momentum Financials, Momentum Web Services, Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP), Red Hat Fuse, Data Mapping and Transformation, PL/SQL, Momentum FormImport, GSOffline Processes
- Experience supporting enterprise application integration, system modernization, and data migration initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

- Experience supporting Federal Government Programs.
- Experience supporting iFAMS implementations.
- Knowledge of Process Improvement (VIP) methodology.
- Experience supporting Cabinet-Level Federal Agencies.
- Experience working within Agile and SAFe delivery environments.

- Technical certifications related to enterprise architecture, integration, cloud technologies, or Momentum preferred.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the overall technical architecture supporting iFAMS conversion and interface activities.
- Design and oversee integration solutions connecting Momentum Financials with external systems and applications.
- Collaborate with Systems Integrator (SI) teams to ensure interface and conversion solutions align with iFAMS configurations and program requirements.
- Provide technical leadership for conversion architecture, data mapping, migration strategies, and integration design.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable architectural solutions.
- Support development, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting of interface and conversion programs.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings and provide architectural recommendations, risk assessments, and technical guidance.
- Ensure compliance with Agile delivery methodologies and Process Improvement (VIP) framework.
- Support federal government-mandated initiatives and modernization efforts.
- Develop and maintain architecture documentation, technical standards, and implementation guidance.
