About The Position

Camlin Energy is seeking two Technical Apprentices to join their North American team in Atlanta, Georgia. This two-year program is designed for individuals at the beginning of their careers who have the aptitude and ambition to become highly skilled technical professionals. The program combines structured mechatronics education with hands-on development through rotations in various operational areas. Apprentices will gain exposure to Camlin Energy's technology and the real-world environments where it is installed and supported. The goal is to develop apprentices for long-term technical careers within Camlin Energy.

Nice To Haves

  • Recent high school graduate interested in engineering or technology.
  • Student or recent student with some college or technical education.
  • Someone who has completed technical, vocational, STEM or engineering-related coursework and wants to develop through hands-on experience.
  • Previous professional technical experience is not required.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake structured mechatronics education covering electrical principles, mechanical systems, motors and controls, instrumentation and measurement, PLCs, fluid systems, technical troubleshooting, safety, applied mathematics, and technical communication.
  • Apply learned knowledge through structured rotations in Camlin Energy’s North American operations.
  • Gain experience in Field Services, including installing and commissioning monitoring equipment at customer sites.
  • Learn to diagnose technical problems, interpret system information, and support customers and field engineers in Technical Support.
  • Configure, test, and prepare monitoring systems in Product Configuration & Testing.
  • Develop troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and equipment maintenance skills in Equipment Service & Repair.
  • Understand inventory and equipment management in Inventory & Operations.
  • Progress towards complex field diagnosis and remediation in Advanced Field Troubleshooting.
  • Work alongside experienced engineers, technicians, and technical specialists.
  • Travel frequently within North America for field rotations.
  • Work in industrial and utility environments and follow all safety procedures.
  • Complete a final assessment considering technical competence, practical capability, performance, and readiness for the next career stage.
