We are seeking an experienced Momentum Technical Analyst/Selenium Developer for an opportunity supporting a large federal customer. The focus of this role will be supporting the implementation of Momentum in a cloud-based environment and performance testing the application for future volume capacities and system limitations. The candidate will support the Technical SME and Program Manager with developing automated testing solutions utilizing Selenium and deliver high quality output and guidance to each of the Team Leads and staff members. The chosen candidate will be a self-starter who demonstrates initiative, interfaces well with multiple clients and has experience in taking ownership of work assignments and project schedules within a fast-paced technical environment. This position is remote but may require occasional domestic business trips to customer facilities primarily in Washington, DC and Austin, TX. Some overtime work may be required to support this fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 5 years of software development or software engineering experience
Hands-on Technical/Development Experience with Selenium and/or Java
Experience installing, maintaining, and working with CI/CD Automation tools such as Jenkins or Job Schedulers such as Control-M.
Experience working in Agile Development environments
Proficiency with Groovy, Java, Perl, Bash, PowerShell, or similar common scripting languages used within automation frameworks.
Experience working with automated API testing utilizing tools such as Postman and/or SoapUI
Experience working within or supporting federal agencies or highly regulated environments.
Ability to work within multienvironment federal testing ecosystems (e.g., DEV, TEST, UAT, â€‘PreProdâ€‘).
Strong understanding of API and GUI testing capabilities.
Experience with version control systems such as GitHub.
Ability to analyze test failures and perform rootcauseâ€‘ analysis.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Experience with Department of Veterans Affairs.
Ability to obtain a public trust clearance.

Nice To Haves

Momentum Financials experience is preferred
Experience working with RedHat OpenShift.
Experience testing financial systems, ERP modules, or similar enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

Serve as an automated test developer utilizing Selenium for Momentum testing initiatives.
Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks aligned with enterprise standards.
Evaluate and recommend automation approaches, tools, and best practices to maximize testing efficiency and minimize testing complexity.
Assist in the development of automated testing solutions leveraging Selenium and a supporting array of software development languages and tools.
Ensure automated testing solutions are versionâ€‘controlled, traceable, and well documented.
Configure, maintain, and upgrade the automation tool environments and related plugins.
Integrate automation tools with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, and other automation applications) to enable continuous testing and repeatability.
Manage test environment connectivity, data dependencies, and tool access for the technical and testing teams.
Support testing automation team to achieve high quality testing results and full traceability between test scripts and requirements traceability matrix.
