Senior Technical Alliances Manager

SimSpace Corporation
$125,000 - $145,000Remote

About The Position

SimSpace is seeking a Technical Alliances Manager to build and scale its third-party security technology ecosystem within the SimSpace Cyber Range. This role is crucial for enabling realistic, high-fidelity customer use-cases by sourcing, licensing, and supporting leading security applications across endpoint, network, identity, cloud, and data security. The ideal candidate will bridge security technology, product management, and strategic partnerships. They will engage directly with security vendors to educate them on product utilization within SimSpace for customer simulations, product testing, agentic SOC workflows, and go-to-market enablement, while laying the groundwork for deeper partnerships, co-development, and future sell-to or sell-with relationships. This is a highly cross-functional role, requiring close collaboration with SimSpace Product Management, Engineering, Sales Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of experience in technical partnerships, alliances, product management, or business development within cybersecurity or enterprise software.
  • Strong understanding of modern security architectures, SOC workflows, and security data pipelines, and how AI is transforming such.
  • Experience working with security vendors, MDRs, or hyperscaler security ecosystems.
  • Comfort engaging with product managers, engineers, and security architects on technical topics.
  • Proven ability to structure and manage technology licensing or evaluation agreements.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into partner value.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in SOC, threat detection, incident response, or security product development.
  • Experience supporting agentic security, AI-driven tooling, or automation platforms.
  • Prior work in MDRs, Cyber Simulation and SOC-focused platforms.
  • Familiarity with sell-with / ecosystem-driven go-to-market models.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prioritize, and source best-of-breed commercial security applications, with a deep focus on AI/Agentic innovation, to support SimSpace current and future customer use-cases, including EDR/XDR, SIEM, SOAR, security data platforms, identity and access management, cloud, network, application, and data security, and attack simulation and pen-testing.
  • Evaluate technologies based on telemetry richness, API access, realism, and relevance to SOC, MDR, and security product development workflows.
  • Maintain a curated security technology roadmap aligned to SimSpace product strategy and customer demand.
  • Structure and negotiate production, lab, and development multi-tenant licenses that allow SimSpace to deploy partner technologies inside the cyber range.
  • Educate technology partners on how their products are used in simulated environments, how telemetry, APIs, and workflows are leveraged for customer scenarios, and how SimSpace enables product validation, agent training, go-to-market acceleration, and customer retention.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for partner onboarding, documentation alignment, and technical coordination.
  • Partner with SimSpace Product Management to support joint product development and integration initiatives, validate partner technology capabilities against SimSpace roadmap needs, and provide feedback to partners based on customer simulations and real-world attack scenarios.
  • Coordinate partner support needs with SimSpace Engineering during integrations, upgrades, and scenario development.
  • Use licensing and technical collaboration as a wedge into deeper relationships, including product partnerships, co-marketing or co-selling motions, and enablement for sales engineering, MDRs, and channel partners.
  • Identify opportunities to progress technology providers partners from 'Tech solution in range' to 'Strategic sell-to', 'Joint solution partner' to 'Sell-with relationship', and potentially Joint OEM.
  • Support executive-level partner conversations with clear value articulation and use-case storytelling.
  • Act as the internal voice of the technical partner ecosystem across Sales, SE, Marketing, and Product teams.
  • Ensure partner technologies are accurately represented in customer demos, sales engineering workflows, and product documentation and enablement materials.
  • Track partner usage, customer impact, and strategic value to inform investment and renewal decisions.
