About The Position

The Emergency Center at Beaumont Troy is a fast-paced, high acuity Level 2 trauma center, seeing over 100,000 patients a year, making it the 3rd busiest in the state. This state-of-the-art center provides advanced specialty and routine care with an emphasis on patient satisfaction and a focus on medical advancement. The scope of work for this position includes assisting the patient care team in stocking and maintaining equipment in the Emergency Room, providing patient care such as obtaining vital signs, applying monitors, transporting EC Service Line patients to and from testing and to the patient care units, and in certain circumstances, providing companionship and observation to patients to limit purposeful or non-purposeful self-inflicted injury. This position requires 3 days of corporate orientation with a schedule of Monday-Wednesday, 7am-3:30pm.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support required
