About The Position

LMI is seeking a Technical Advisor SME who is a senior-level Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Information Systems to shape the strategic direction of new program implementing a SaaS solution that will impact the entire Army. This position requires Secret Clearance. This position can be performed in a hybrid remote capacity, with client site work at Ft. Belvoir 1-2 days a week. The ideal candidate bridges the gap between operators, engineers, and senior decision-makers -- equally credible briefing a general officer on capability roadmaps and challenging an engineering team on model architectures, implementation, and operational support. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • At least 5 years of experience
  • Experience working with cloud based solutions
  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Secret Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience running projects of similar size and scope
  • PMP Certification or other equivalent certifications

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine the Army's strategic approach to system implementation.
  • Assist the Government in understanding the technical decisions they need make, and to bridge the gap between technical and business impact.
  • Advise senior leadership (O-5 and above) on capability gaps, technology readiness, and investment priorities related to the SaaS implementation.
  • Evaluate and challenge proposals changes from defense industry, technical service providers, system partners.
  • Shape requirements documents, Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), and capability development documents (CDDs) to ensure the successful implementation of the SaaS system.
  • Represent the Government program office in interagency working groups, Joint AI Center (JAIC) / CDAO engagements, Data Goverance meetings, and industry conferences.
