About The Position

This role is for an experienced .Net Developer / C# developer with a passion for software engineering, learning and growth to join a Microsoft Consulting team on a permanent, hybrid remote basis. The role will be responsible for assisting in the development of web applications design and architecture, as well as hands-on development. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and experience with Visual Studio/.Net and hands-on experience with turn-key web development projects. Experience with and/or a desire to work with MS Dynamics is essential.

Requirements

• Strong applications development expertise with experience with the full SDLC.
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio - including C# and ASP.Net.
• 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience working with JavaScript code.
• Experience working in a small team with the ability to take on additional project responsibilities as needed.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience with the development of business critical applications in a web-based environment.
• Desire to continue to learn, grow, develop software and become MS Dynamics Certified.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with SharePoint or MS Dynamics (opportunity to learn new technologies in these areas and be trained).

Responsibilities

• Analyzing web service calls to research performance issues and working to optimize C# and JavaScript code.
• Performing deep dive analysis and performing coding/code rewrites on existing systems that need modification and enhancement.
• Software development including complex customizations for existing ERP applications using C# / .Net.
• Deep dive training in MS Dynamics to work towards SME status with development.
• Working closely with internal and external development teams from analysis through development and implementation.
• Working across a variety of clients and industries.
