The Office of Property Tax Appeal Board is looking to hire an Administrative Law Judge position. This position conducts legal hearings of property tax assessments dealing primarily with matters of law; consults with attorneys, taxpayers, local government officials and others regarding the application of regulations to specific situations; conducts legal research pertinent to the appeal at hand; prepares draft decisions for approval and presentation to the Property Tax Appeal Board. The Property Tax Appeal Board offers a robust benefit package including: Monday-Friday schedule, Health, life, vision, and dental insurance, Paid Parental leave, Pension Plan, Deferred Compensation, and other pre-tax benefit programs. Employees earn (12) paid sick days annually, (10-25) paid vacation days (based on years of service), (3) paid personal days (pro-rated based on start date), and (13-14) paid state holidays annually. Work hours and schedule will be mutually agreed upon by supervisor during the onboarding process.
