Technical Accounting Intern
About The Position
The Technical Accounting Intern works under direct supervision and established procedures and guidelines to support preparation of financial materials for external financial reports. The role includes working with subject matter experts on day-to-day tasks and adapting to and prioritizing ad-hoc special projects. The role is part of Jabil’s Summer Internship Program for summer 2027. Interns can engage with Jabil leadership, participate in professional development, networking, social, and community engagement events, serve on committees with other interns, receive a mentor, and tour Jabil facilities. The internship is based in St. Petersburg, Florida, and is scheduled to run from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027.
Requirements
- Major in Accounting or another related field.
- Be a rising junior, rising senior, or recent graduate.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Be available to work in St. Petersburg, Florida, from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027.
- Proficiency with Excel.
- Effective communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to drive work.
- Leadership skills including agility, building trusting relationships, decision-making, and resilience.
