About The Position

Speria MTech is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Accountant to join our growing Finance organization in Dunwoody, GA. This role reports to the Financial Controller and will play a key role in supporting technical accounting, audit readiness, accounting governance, tax compliance, month-end close, and financial operations across a multi-entity environment. Requirements

  • U.S. GAAP and IFRS knowledge
  • Experience with ASC 606 and IFRS 15
  • Experience with sales tax compliance
  • Experience with monthly balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis
  • Experience with month-end, quarterly, and annual close processes
  • Experience with fixed asset accounting
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or equivalent certification

Responsibilities

  • Support technical accounting research and document accounting conclusions under U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
  • Assist with revenue recognition activities in accordance with ASC 606 and IFRS 15.
  • Evaluate accounting implications of customer contracts, vendor agreements, and business initiatives.
  • Prepare audit-ready reconciliations, schedules, journal entry support, and other documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal and external audit teams to support audit readiness and compliance.
  • Manage and support sales tax compliance activities, filings, reporting, reconciliations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, account analysis, and support cash flow forecasting and treasury activities.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • Assist with fixed asset accounting, capitalization policies, CapEx governance, and domestic and international accounting operations.
  • Partner with FP&A, FinOps, Payroll, Operations, and other stakeholders to improve financial visibility, accounting processes, controls, and scalability.
  • Support ERP optimization, system implementations, automation projects, contract reviews, ad hoc analyses, and special projects assigned by Finance leadership.
