About The Position

GMI Cloud is building next-generation AI and GPU cloud infrastructure to support fast-scaling AI companies, research labs, and enterprise customers. The Technical Account Manager (TAM) plays a critical customer-facing role, working at the intersection of customers, infrastructure, and operations to ensure successful delivery, adoption, and long-term account success.

Requirements

  • Experience in technical account management, customer success, operations, or project management within cloud, AI infrastructure, or data center environments.
  • Comfortable working with technical customers and cross-functional internal teams.
  • General understanding of AI infrastructure concepts such as GPU servers, Kubernetes, high-performance networking, and storage.
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting enterprise or AI-scale customers.
  • Exposure to hyperscale data center or AI infrastructure environments.
  • Bilingual communication skills (English / Chinese) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned customers.
  • Build trusted relationships with customer engineering and operations teams.
  • Coordinate with internal infrastructure, data center operations, and engineering teams to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Support customer onboarding, deployment, and scaling of AI/GPU workloads.
  • Identify performance, utilization, and cost-optimization opportunities.
  • Conduct regular operational and technical reviews with customers.
  • Advocate for customer needs internally and drive issue resolution.
