About The Position
Central Transport is seeking Tech Trainees to join their growing team. This is an entry-level position with the potential to learn a skilled trade. Central Transport is an industry-leading Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) transportation carrier and one of the nation's largest LTL carriers, experiencing significant growth. They are looking for individuals to help maintain their fleet of over 2,200 tractors, 8,500 trailers, and 1,700 forklifts across the United States and Canada.
Requirements
- Work is considered heavy physical work requiring exertion of 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force frequently and up to 20 pounds of force consistently to move objects.
- Must possess strength, stamina and mobility to perform heavy physical work.
- Must be able to: walk, lift, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb, kneel and crouch for extended periods of time
Nice To Haves
- Prior mechanic experience in the auto industry is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Removing decals from trailers to be repaired
- Minor body work on trailers
