Tech Project Manager
About The Position
Trident Consulting is seeking a Tech Project Manager for one of our clients in Atlanta, GA. This is a contract role with a global leader in business and technology services. The Tech Project Manager will be the overall Cognizant Technical Project Manager for the ISO Portal Initiative. This role involves working closely with GPC Technology and Business Stakeholders to understand requirements, manage Agile practices and JIRA boards, drive milestone planning, and ensure technical estimations and sub-task creation. The position also requires understanding technical architecture, providing oversight on delivery to ensure industry best practices, standards, automation, quality, timeliness, operational readiness, continuous improvement, and cost-effective solutions. Additionally, the role involves providing technical leadership and guidance to engineers, collaborating with senior leaders on ISO Portal strategies, implementing tools for platform development and improvement, and providing status reporting to GPC and Cognizant Stakeholders.
Requirements
- Significant Experience and hands on in Technical Project Management
- Some background on Java Stack
- Must understand Jira and use AI effectively
- Create Reports
- Own deliverables
Responsibilities
- Overall Cognizant Technical Project Manager for ISO Portal Initiative
- Work Closely with GPC Technology and Business Stakeholders to understand the requirements
- Understand Agile Practices and ensure JIRA boards are managed effectively by working closely with stakeholders.
- Drives Milestone Planning and ensures technical estimations and sub task creation are done.
- Creation of Prioritized Backlog
- Understand Technical architecture, terminologies and ensures adequate review of deliverables
- Help build the knowledge of the team on the Platform
- Provides oversight on delivery to ensure industry best practices, standards, automation, quality, timeliness, operational readiness, continuous improvement and cost-effective solutions
- Provide effective technical leadership and guidance to lead engineers and the technical team within a domain
- Collaborate with senior leaders to integrate ISO Portal strategies with business, product, and technology roadmaps.
- Implement tools and systems necessary in collaboration with GPC for the development and continuous improvement of the ISO Portal platform
- Status Reporting to GPC and Cognizant Stakeholders
