Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in semiconductor construction, facilities readiness, and process tool installation across laboratory, technology development, and/or high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • In-fab operational experience as a semiconductor process tool owner, preferably across multiple module areas such as Etch, EPI, MDP, or related technologies.
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background with broad multi-discipline facilities and installation knowledge, including layout, structural, mechanical, electrical, life safety, waste treatment, vacuum systems, point-of-use abatement, and sub-fab utility systems.
  • Strong understanding of the relationship between process requirements, equipment configuration, facility infrastructure, and installation execution.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction designs, installation packages, schematics, and facility interface documentation.
  • Working knowledge of construction trades, contract structures, execution methods, building codes, and union labor environments.
  • Expertise in Facilities & Installation design processes, data management, and structured execution governance.
  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with customers in high-pressure, high-visibility environments, including expectation management, issue escalation, and recovery planning.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving, and sometimes conflicting conditions while creating structure, decision clarity, and forward execution momentum.
  • Ability to deliver difficult messages when necessary, paired with clear options, mitigation plans, and recommended solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares project plans and drives the project from conception and planning to implementation.
  • Will participate in the development of strategies, processes and resources.
  • Manages project schedule and task details by utilizing project management tools such as reports, tracking charts, checklist and project scheduling software.
  • Coordinates allocated resources from within the Division to achieve on-time and within budget performance objectives for the project.
  • Initiates and manages purchase requisitions, and purchase orders.
  • Drives cost schedule performance of equipment for internal and external customers and vendors worldwide.
  • Participates on multifunctional design teams comprised of internal, external and/or matrixed headcount to complete projects.
  • Provides technical input to team members to achieve project goals.
  • Interfaces and coordinates within the division to define project objectives, provide status updates and prepare for release and deployment.
  • Provides engineering and business process expertise to team and other members on various standard programs / issues.
  • Identifies and resolves potential complications within the project and develops solutions for resolution.
