About The Position

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking an experienced Tech Product Manager specializing in SAP Master Data Management (MDM). This role is crucial for establishing and executing the strategy for ERP Master Data Management products, while also supporting the evolution of adjacent ERP capabilities and business processes. The Product Manager will align products with technology, data, Supply Chain, Merchandising, Procurement, and Finance strategies, using data-driven decisions. A key focus will be optimizing ERP Master Data Management capabilities and contributing to broader ERP initiatives to improve efficiency, data quality, process effectiveness, and user experience across various departments. This role requires fostering strong relationships across the company to enhance ERP Master Data Management capabilities and identify opportunities for improvements in ERP products and processes.

Requirements

• Proven product management experience in retail.
• BA/BS in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 5+ years in Product Management, Master Data Management, ERP systems, or Enterprise Business Applications.
• Experience with SAP ERP processes.
• Strong data analysis and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and drive organizational change.
• Strategic thinker with an enterprise mindset.
• Balancing deep expertise in Master Data Management with the ability to drive value across the broader ERP product landscape.
• Influential leader, sometimes without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Establish and execute the strategy for ERP Master Data Management products.
• Support the evolution of adjacent ERP capabilities and business processes.
• Align products with technology, data, Supply Chain, Merchandising, Procurement and Finance strategies using data-driven decisions.
• Lead the optimization of ERP Master Data Management capabilities.
• Contribute to broader ERP initiatives that improve efficiency, data quality, process effectiveness, and user experience across Merchandising, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance.
• Foster relationships across the company to enhance ERP Master Data Management capabilities.
• Identify opportunities in support of broader ERP product and process improvements.
• Partner with key stakeholders to align technology with strategic goals.
• Use data insights to identify opportunities and support decisions.
• Analyze current processes and technology to find improvement areas.
• Create a strategic roadmap and manage product backlogs.
• Lead development, deployment, and optimization of Master Data Management products.
• Define and measure KPIs for product adoption and performance.
• Collaborate with ERP product teams to ensure alignment of master data capabilities with broader ERP processes, integrations, and business outcomes.
