About The Position

This position involves using expertise in Java/Python to work with an agile team to develop, test, and maintain Zoom applications built on microservices technologies, supporting hundreds of millions of customers. The role focuses on developing highly performant, large-scale distributed applications, assisting in the collection and communication of product team and customer requirements, developing user stories and estimates, and working with operations teams to ensure applications and services are highly available and reliable. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with operations teams to provide a stable and reliable cross-cloud automatic platform based on Kubernetes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related field, or a foreign degree equivalent.
• 6 years of experience in job offered or related occupation.
• 6 years of experience in building, deploying, and supporting an enterprise-scale web application in the cloud.
• 6 years of experience utilizing Java and Python in software development.
• 6 years of experience working with modern cloud tools and services such as AWS, OCI, and Azure.
• 6 years of experience working with modern cloud native such as K8s components developed.
• 6 years of experience working with modern storage and CDN such as Cloudfront and Akamai.
• 6 years of experience utilizing modern database (SQL and NoSQL) and storage technologies including MySQL, DynamoDB, and MongoDB.
• 6 years of experience utilizing multi-threaded programming.
• 6 years of experience acting as a service owner, project leader, or team leader.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Zoom applications built on microservices technologies.
• Develop highly performant large scale distributed applications.
• Assist in the collection and communication of the product team and customer's requirements.
• Develop user stories and estimates.
• Work with operations teams to ensure applications and services are highly available and reliable.
