Requirements

• Active Certifications: Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer
• Pre-Sales or Solutions Architecture Experience: Previous experience in client-facing roles (Pre-sales, Solutions Architect, Customer Engineer, or Cloud Technical Consultant).
• Mastery of Data and AI (GCP): Solid hands-on experience with the Google Cloud data suite, especially BigQuery and the Vertex AI platform (including Generative AI services, Agent Builder, and AutoML).
• Code-Based Architecture: Knowledge of Python for data manipulation and use of GCP AI and Machine Learning SDKs/APIs.
• Generative AI & Orchestration Familiarity: Practical familiarity with LLMs concepts, prompt engineering, RAG techniques (Grounded Generation), and native or GCP-integrated vector databases.
• Connectivity and Ingestion: Knowledge in designing real-time or batch data pipelines and messaging buses (Pub/Sub).
• Modern Engineering Practices: Understanding of MLOps (Vertex AI Pipelines) and FinOps (cloud cost management and optimization).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Basic knowledge of Terraform for provisioning AI/Data resources on GCP.

Nice To Haves

• Other Certifications: Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
• Experience in projects focused on generative AI applied to corporate process automation, intelligent search, and customer service.
• Previous experience working within the Google Cloud official partner ecosystem (Google Cloud Partners).

Responsibilities

• Consultative Role: Lead technical pre-sales meetings (discovery/qualification) with medium and large clients, translating complex business needs into cloud architecture proposals (GCP).
• Architecture Design (AI & Data): Design and architect modern solutions using the GCP data and AI ecosystem (Vertex AI, BigQuery, Dataproc, Dataflow, Looker), ensuring scalability, security, and cost optimization.
• Proposals and Pricing: Structure the technical scope of projects, estimate technical delivery effort, and prepare cloud consumption cost estimates (TCO and ROI) using the official Google Cloud calculator.
• PoCs and Demonstrations: Develop rapid prototypes, Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and technical demonstrations of AI/ML (such as RAG pipelines, AI agents, or Generative AI on Vertex AI) to validate solutions with technical and business decision-makers.
• Support for Sales Team: Act as the technical arm of the sales team in closing large contracts, responding to RFPs/RFIs with excellence and technical accuracy.
• Ecosystem Relationship: Stay updated and represent IEBT in Google Cloud partner forums, aligning offerings with Google Cloud programs and incentives.
