THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE: The Technical Lead for Customer Intelligence will play a critical role in shaping how we capture, analyze, and act on customer data across the enterprise. This role will play a critical part in activating real-time customer data to enable personalized experiences at scale. As the Technical Lead for Customer Intelligence, you will collaborate closely with product owners, data engineers, solution architects, and marketing stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions that power identity resolution, segmentation, and real-time activation. You will be responsible for shaping technical direction, overseeing data pipelines, and ensuring best practices in customer data usage, governance, and activation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data architecture, engineering, or MarTech implementation roles.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (Real-Time CDP, Identity Service, Data Collection, Activation).
  • Strong understanding of CDP concepts including identity resolution, consent management, and cross-channel orchestration.
  • Proficient in data pipelines, RESTful APIs, and streaming technologies (Kafka, Adobe Edge).
  • Strong skills in data modeling, JSON/XDM schema design, SQL, and experience working with Adobe Data Distiller for querying and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native data processing and orchestration, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Cloud Functions and Cloud Composer.
  • Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language such as Python or Java for building integrations, automation, and data processing workflows.

Nice To Haves

  • Adobe certification (e.g., Adobe Certified Expert – Real-Time CDP, AEP Developer).
  • Experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), Adobe Target, and Customer Journey Analytics (CJA).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and enterprise integration tools (TIBCO).
  • Understanding of data privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA) and governance best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Platform Ownership & Technical Leadership
  • Serve as the technical lead for Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Real-Time CDP implementations.
  • Design and manage ingestion, unification, and activation workflows leveraging AEP’s core services (RTCDP, Identity Graph, Data Lake, Edge).
  • Lead technical discovery sessions and translate business requirements into scalable data architecture and solution designs.
  • Data Integration & Enablement
  • Oversee integration of data sources into AEP using batch and streaming ingestion patterns.
  • Partner with data engineering teams to develop ETL/ELT pipelines and ensure quality data delivery.
  • Implement identity stitching, namespace mapping, and data governance strategies.
  • Customer Segmentation & Activation
  • Enable and support audience segmentation and activation across marketing channels using AEP, AJO (Adobe Journey Optimizer), and Adobe Target.
  • Ensure operational excellence and technical readiness for real-time personalization use cases.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with architects, analysts, and marketers to ensure seamless alignment between data strategy and customer experience goals.
  • Provide hands-on guidance to development teams and vendors implementing Adobe solutions.
  • Document technical designs, data flows, and integration specifications.
  • Monitoring & Performance
  • Establish data quality, validation, and observability frameworks across AEP data sets.
  • Monitor platform performance and ensure SLAs are met for data freshness and accuracy.
  • Leadership & Enablement
  • Mentor and guide analysts, engineers, and business partners in leveraging AEP and RT CDP effectively.
  • Partner with vendors, system integrators, and Adobe experts to accelerate adoption and value realization.
  • Contribute to governance frameworks, ensuring compliance, scalability, and alignment with enterprise data strategy.
