About The Position

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Business Intelligence Lead to support our Commercial organization. This role will be responsible for developing best-in-class Tableau dashboards for Sales and Marketing while also applying data science and advanced analytics techniques to uncover insights that inform commercial strategy and decision-making. The ideal candidate is both hands-on and consultative — someone who can build intuitive, scalable dashboards while also moving beyond descriptive reporting to identify trends, drivers, and opportunities that improve sales effectiveness, marketing performance, and customer engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data science, ideally within healthcare, life sciences, or diagnostics.
  • Advanced proficiency in Tableau (dashboard design, performance optimization, data modeling).
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills with experience using SQL and Python or R.
  • Proven ability to move from descriptive reporting to diagnostic and predictive insights.
  • Experience working with sales and marketing data, including CRM, pipeline, and campaign performance data.
  • Excellent communication and data storytelling skills, with the ability to influence non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Redshift).
  • Experience applying customer segmentation, promotional effectiveness, or marketing mix concepts.
  • Knowledge of diagnostics or healthcare commercial models.
  • Experience enabling self-service BI and training business users.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and ownership of Tableau dashboards for Sales and Marketing, including health system performance tracking, inside sales representative reporting, pipeline visibility, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Leadership to define KPIs, reporting standards, and analytics priorities.
  • Translate business questions into actionable dashboards, metrics, and analytical frameworks.
  • Apply data science and advanced analytics techniques (e.g., segmentation, regression, clustering, time-series analysis) to derive insights that inform commercial strategy.
  • Develop and maintain robust data sources, calculations, and extracts to ensure accuracy, performance, and scalability of reporting.
  • Identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities across sales performance, customer engagement, and marketing investments.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations, Commercial Analytics, and IT to integrate data from CRM (Salesforce), marketing platforms, and enterprise data sources.
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
  • Establish best practices for dashboard governance, documentation, and self-service analytics adoption.
  • Continuously improve commercial reporting by automating processes and introducing new analytical approaches.
